1980 talk by Steve Jobs on the future of computing

Fascinating recording of Steve Jobs talking about Apple, the future of computing and how it will change the world in 1980.

The piece where he talks about how every secretary has an Apple on his or her desk drew gasps

“They do all their word processing on Apple which given the state of the software out there is impressive”

Also, in answer to the question why did you call the company Apple, he answered,

“Well partly because I like apples a lot and partly because Apple comes before Atari in the phone book and I used to work for Atari.”
