Good Old Yellow Pages

Let your fingers do the walking.

The Yellow Pages is to stop printing its famous yellow directory after 51 years. Once a behemoth with an unstoppable sales force, the Yellow Pages was the only place you could go to find out stuff. It also spent a fortune on TV advertising. Their ‘JR Hartley’ ad is often cited as one of the best of all time.

RIP Yellow Pages, now long since rebranded Hibu after a previous rebranding to Yell Group, the company now describes itself as an Internet services company.
