Today, the temperature in Cambridge, England is 29 degrees. It is the 1st of October.
This means the average daily maximum calculated so far for the month of October (29 degrees) is astonishingly, more than double the average daily maximum for the month of October (14.6 degrees).
Statistically speaking it is even worse news when it comes to rainfall. In Cambridge, we are dehydrating. the average daily rainfall in Cambridge in October is just 1.65 mm. We have had no rain at all this month – 0 mm. At this rate we will all dehydrate and turn to dust within weeks.
It is not all bad news though…

This is great news for Newnham Croft School who launched their campaign to put solar panels on the school roof yesterday. At this rate, their panels will generate enough electricity to power the entire town within days.

This is great news for people who drink tea, they will never have to bother waiting for the kettle. It is less good news for humans etc.
Its also partly meaningless because at least someone somewhere will say this is the result of global warming, something that i simply dont believe in occuring any other way but naturally, scientists that are not being paid to chant the “were killing the planet” lies know full well that over hundreds of thousands and millions of years the planet has naturally went through cycles causing raises in temperature.
Its a bit arrogant that the human race flatters itself so much to the point that people believe they have the power to change how the planet does what it does, while i do believe that we could find better ways of doing things, the planet was here before us and will still probably be here long after we cease to exist here.
