Facebook is an amazing business. It will be talked about and analysed to death over the next few months.

The SEC’s site went down under the sheer weight of journalists and pundits wanting to know how much Mark Zuckerberg earns and is worth (not a huge amount as it turns out though most of his salary is spent on private jets and a huge amount – $28billion odd if the valuation on IPO is $100billion). They could have done with calling Rackspace to solve that one but we were struck by the amount of markup in an S1 – so much that you can’t even see Facebook…

  2. Hey Geoff. That is what mine looks like when you strip out all the html code but I just thought it was entertaining that there is still so much styling and formatting information in a fairly simple document that it absolutely dominates the data in the file.

    Hence the, ‘style over substance’ line. :-0
