Some great analysis of European Technology Companies by William Blair & Co including public and private company data, M&A and venture financing. Worth a good look but underlying message seems to be there is a lot going on.
Oh, and 59 companies covered have an Enterprise Value over $1 billion.

Very interesting conversation with our French friend Gregory this morning, in which he told me that lots of startups in Europe being told to come to London to get funding, test their market and, effectively, sharpen their business.

Suddenly, the world of hardware is beginning to look an awful lot like the software industry of a decade ago. New start-ups, new development techniques, whole new business models are emerging and the result is an amazing new market.
